MAIN STAGE: Rui Weerkamp, the dutch psychedelic visionary

| Centipede Productions is a design studio based in Amsterdam, renowned for its innovative and immersive event visuals. Founded in 2014 by Rui Weerkamp and later joined by Beatrice Barbarin in 2017, the studio specializes in creating captivating stage designs, intricate lighting installations, and dynamic structures that transform spaces into otherworldly environments.

Their portfolio showcases a diverse range of projects, including the “WatchTower” and “Solar Stage” installations, which feature elaborate geometric patterns and vibrant color schemes. The “Dark Crystal” and “StarSeed” designs incorporate organic shapes and ethereal lighting, evoking a sense of cosmic wonder. Additionally, the “EVOLUON CANOPY” and “Space Pods” projects demonstrate their ability to blend architectural elements with artistic expression, creating immersive experiences that engage the senses.

Central to Centipede Productions’ creative process is the use of advanced technology, such as large-format CO₂ laser cutting and in-house sublimation printing. These tools enable the precise fabrication of materials like wood, acrylic, textiles, and HDPE, allowing for the realization of intricate designs and prototypes. OTHER-WORLDS STAGE

OTHER-WORLDS STAGE: Peter Gric: Architect of the Surreal Future

| Peter Gric is a visionary artist whose work bridges the realms of surrealism, science fiction, and architectural precision. Born in 1968 in Brno, Czechoslovakia and later settling in Austria, Gric studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, where he developed his unique fusion of traditional painting and digital techniques.

Gric’s paintings transport viewers into alternate realities — vast dreamscapes where organic forms entwine with impossible structures, and futuristic ruins echo the memory of ancient civilizations. His influences range from H.R. Giger to Zdzisław Beksiński, yet Gric’s voice is distinctly his own: cool-toned, mathematically complex, and emotionally enigmatic. Using both oil on panel and 3D modeling, he constructs spaces that seem to exist outside time — spaces that are both haunting and sublime.

Often described as biomechanical or techno-organic, Gric’s worlds are uninhabited yet alive, hinting at post-human evolution or alien intelligence. His mastery of light, texture, and spatial illusion gives his works an almost photographic realism, despite their surreal content. Each piece feels like a glimpse into a universe governed by its own laws of physics, architecture, and myth. Peter Gric stands as one of the leading figures in contemporary fantastical art, pushing the boundaries of imagination while grounding his work in technical mastery. Whether adorning gallery walls or digital landscapes, his art continues to inspire awe, contemplation, and a deep sense of mystery. You can find more about Peter here: https://www.gric.at/
